Reflexology (beware: not for the ticklish!)

Reflexology is the belief that certain areas of your feet relate to different parts of your body (like your heart or eyes). And if you massage those areas on the feet you’ll actually be healing those body parts. Cool, huh?

Reflexology helps to restore balance and promote natural health and vitality.
Although Reflexology does not diagnose or treat specific ailments, it has been proven highly successful over time to relieve symptoms or ease pain or discomfort that has resulted because of stress, trauma or disease.

Reflexology has been practiced for thousands of years in such places as India, China and Egypt. It has also been used as a healing therapy by the North American Native Americans for generations.

Reflexology has gained tons of popularity lately with the whole yoga trend and eating and exercising right. Not to mention all the stress Americans have (Reflexology is known to be a great stress reducer).

Reflexology offers an all natural therapy which does not require anything other than massaging to stimulate the body's natural healing mechanisms to normalize and heal.

It is relatively easy to learn, just follow the diagrams of the right and left foot provided to know what body part goes with what part of the foot.

Start by moving your thumb and fingers softly along the sides of each foot. Then stimulate the different pressure points with a firm and gentle massage. Follow the diagram and work your way through all the different parts of your foot, starting with the big toe and work your way down to your heel—easy as that!

Say you have a huge test on Monday, (study, of course) but why not try gently pinching your toes to stimulate your brain. It couldn't hurt.

Or if you have a cold and your nose is all stuffed up, try massaging your big toe to relieve the aches and pains you may be feeling.
