Holly Holmberg Brooks has had many years of experience creating, writing and producing film and television. Her early credits include Emmy-nominated script writing for Taxi, the highly acclaimed classic series. While she was scripting another Emmy-winning series, The Tracey Ullman Show, her innovative idea to bring animation shorts to a restless variety format gave birth to the popular long-running series, The Simpsons. She has received credit for several Academy Award winning and nominated feature films including, Terms of Endearment, Broadcast News, Jerry Maguire and As Good As It Gets. Last season she co-produced Emmy nominated Liberty's Kids for PBS.

Ms. Holmberg Brooks has enjoyed collaboration with some of the best business and creative minds in the entertainment industry. She has recently compeleted the filming of two innovative reality television programs that utilize the Internet for its best purpose: to connect people so that they can share their stories and life experiences. She is also presently developing two feature films.

Ms. Holmberg Brooks is the founder of The Generator Interactive Network, a 501c3 organization and home of the award-winning Web site www.GirlSite.org. In 1997, she launched The GirlSite Network, the first safe online global community, which gives young women access to a unique multimedia environment and empowers them to express themselves and share their voices. Through a variety of multimedia programs and theater experiences -- The Generator Interactive Network has served thousands of young people around the world. Ms. Holmberg sits on the advisory board of several organizations including Arnold's All Stars, The Children's Partnership and The Story Project.
